If you want to know how to make fried rice Nigeria, you need to find a good recipe in a cookbook or from a renowned local chef. A good Nigerian fried rice recipe is easy to come by and youll find that they mostly consist of the same ingredients mixed vegetables, carrots, peppers, sweetcorn and a range of spices for flavor. There is really no hard and fast rule as to what you can use to cook it; some people even add small pieces of meat, gizzard, fish, mushrooms and other less popular vegetables just to give it an extra vibe. Its a dish thats popular at most parties and if youre a foreigner visiting the country, its a safe bet to try especially if you dont like spicy food. Our version tastes different to the Chinese version which usually contains eggs and other condiments. This meal is super tasty and rich in flavor depending on how you make it, it can vary in colour from deep yellow to light green. At parties, it is an alternative to jollof but if youre lucky, some caterers serve a portion of each and this can give you a taste of both worlds.
